Magpie Dance end of year celebrations!

Posted on: December 5, 2017

We would like to say a huge well done to all of our Magpie Dancers for all of their hard work this term! Some of our Youth Group Dancers completed their Arts Awards and received their certificates this term and also received the Jack Petchey award:

Ex Youth Group Dancer (now in our Adult Group) receiving her certificate from Alison Ferrao, Katharine Le Roux and virtually by her tutor Natasha Britton.

Jake also received a signed photo from his arts inspiration Susanna Reid with his Arts Award and is a proud winner of the Jack Petchey award:

Alongside these celebrations we celebrated ‘International day of persons with disabilities’ on Sunday 3rd December with a group trip to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarves at The Churchill Theatre. We were lucky enough to have the Panto Dame Nurse Nancy (Jason Sutton) come to see us and draw our top four prizes in the Christmas Raffle. Top prize winner David Seymour won 4 x tickets for Cirque Berserk at The Churchill Theatre in March congratulations! We are pleased to say that the Christmas raffle raised £400 which will all go towards the running of our sessions. We would like to thank all of the local businesses that donated prizes.
