Magpie Dance’s Board of Trustees is pleased to share the new leadership structure for the organisation comprising an Artistic Director and an Executive Director. This pairing reflects a pivotal moment for Magpie Dance and the value placed on the artistic, operational and financial leadership needed to deliver Magpie Dance’s ambitious business and artistic plans.
The new Executive Director will ensure the organisation’s financial and operational stability whilst building a dynamic environment in which to leverage growth and impact though best delivery to participants, developing partnerships and increasing levels of support and income. This role will be appointed internally to Laura Graham (currently General Manager) after a period of transition when she will act as interim CEO from 9th August onward.
The new Artistic Director role will lead on the development and delivery of Magpie Dance’s ambitious artistic plan with strategic oversight of the programme and professional training offer. This new strategic structure will be directly reporting to the Board of Trustees and is due to be implemented in the Autumn.
