Bromley and Petts Wood Rock Choirs deliver stunning performance for Magpie Dance in a magnificent fundraising concert.

The choirs came together at Bromley Baptist Church at the request of one of their members. Jan has been singing with the choir for some time and is an avid Magpie Dance supporter. Last night’s performance is the first fundraising event the choir have performed for Magpie Dance and we certainly hope it won’t be the last.

Spectators were treated to renditions of Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Human”, Billy Joel’s classic “Uptown Girl” and a version of Labi Siffre “Something inside (so strong)” like you’ve never heard it before. Speaking at the event Chief Executive for Magpie Dance, Thalie Martini said “It was a spectacular performance”. Audience member Rachel couldn’t believe her ears “it was simply amazing” she said.

The audience and choir alike were also treated to the premier of Magpie Dance’s #whoknewwecoulddance giving campaign with an inspiring film featuring just some of Magpie Dance’s participants. If you’d like your chance to see the film you can watch it here.

We heartily thank everyone involved from Bromley and Petts Wood Rock Choirs for delivering such a great performance and raising much needed funds for Magpie Dance.
