2020 Term Dates

Spring Term

Sessions will not run. These final two weeks of term will be added to the Autumn term (September – December).

Summer Term

Second half of term dates TBC.

Sessions will not run during the first half of term. We hope to deliver 6 sessions between June and July but will follow government guidelines closer to the time.

Please continue to return booking forms for the summer, but if you have not already done so please do not send payment. When we have a start date for the summer term we will be in touch and advise fees/refunds due at that point. If possible, please send booking forms via email as the office post will only be checked once a week.

If you’re new to Magpie Dance and using these uncertain times to meet us, our usual operating information is below. Fees and the length of terms may be adjusted to ensure maximum service delivery later in 2020.

All sessions cost £10, with a 10% discount if the full term is paid for in advance (10 sessions).  Sessions are half price to new participants for the first term only. Reduced fees are available upon request.

Magpie Dance holds regular weekly sessions in term-time during the Spring, Summer and Autumn. Each term is 10 sessions in total and typically follows the format: 5 sessions – half term – 5 sessions.

Every session is accompanied by dynamic, live music (percussion or keyboard) and varies from 1.5 to 2 hours long.

Our facilitators have extensive experience of working with young people and adults with learning difficulties as well as having highly successful careers as professional dancers, choreographers and teachers. Our team of dance professionals, musicians and volunteers have been key to the popularity and success of Magpie Dance.
