Discover another side to the First World War.
Magpie Dance, the UK’s leading dance charity for people of all ages with learning disabilities, invite you to join our “No Longer Hidden” tour.
Hidden Impact revealed stories of people with learning disabilities, their journeys and contributions to the First World War.
Building on the success of their work, Magpie Dancers have been working with former Royal Ballet soloists Laura McCulloch and David Pickering MBE in a seven week residency at the Royal Opera House. “No Longer Hidden” features choreography by Magpie Dancers and is based on “Gloria”, Kenneth MacMillan’s ballet about the Great War.
Featuring this new choreography and excerpts of the stunning Hidden Impact performance, this is an opportunity to see Magpie Dance performing live at The Glades, Bromley as part of their Purple Tuesday event.
The “No Longer Hidden” tour includes new choreography, an exhibition based on Hidden Impact, Q&A sessions with the researchers at selected locations and our talented dancers in live performances.
This is a free performance and we would love all Magpie Dance Supporters to attend.
