Margaret (Marg) Kenney

Marg is a graduate from Macquarie University, Australia with a BA in Psychology.  Marg has worked in various sectors in Australia, New Zealand and the UK including the NHS, technology, finance, third sector and charities.  Her passion is about helping organisations and their people realise their potential via continuous improvement and development focusing on their unique and diverse skills, interests and lived experiences.

Marg has been the People Director at Somerset House Trust for the past three years and offers a wealth of HR experience to the Arts Sector and in return continuously learning a lot herself.  Marg also believes in paying forward and has worked with the Samaritans in Australia in the UK and currently mentors young people in schools.  Marg believes in the power of giving back to the community and volunteering provides her with the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of others and make a positive impact on the lives of those who may benefit from her skills, experience, passion and empathy.
