Magpie Dance is at the forefront of dance for learning disabled people, unlocking individual potential and ability.

Summer 2012 Term Dates: Find out the latest Term Dates for the Youth Group and Adult Community Classes. 
 
Magpie Dance provides:

• Open community classes for learning disabled adults and their carers

• An award-winning Youth Group dance programme

• An adult  programme for experienced dancers

• An inclusive dance practice training (IDPT) programme for individual dance practitioners

• Tailored training to integrate with organisational needs for teachers (including INSET), health practitioners, and dance organisations

• A choreographic mentoring scheme for learning disabled dancers

• Performances with a range of partners and venues, from Sadlers Wells to the Churchill Theatre.

Magpie Dance, founded in 1986 by the Artistic Director, Avril Hitman, is an inclusive contemporary dance company and has carved out a national reputation for its exciting and inspiring approach to inclusive and creative dance.  Based in Bromley, at The Churchill Theatre, Magpie is accessible to all surrounding boroughs and can deliver workshops to any region in the UK and beyond.
